Torchy’s Tacos Rockville: A Damn Good Community-First Business

At Torchy’s Tacos Rockville, we believe being Damn Good is about more than just serving bold, innovative tacos – it’s about showing up for the people and businesses that make this community thrive. From the moment we opened our doors, we set out to become more than just a place to grab a meal. We wanted to become a partner, a neighbor, and a gathering spot for everyone in Rockville.

Whether it’s dropping off chips and queso to teachers and staff at local schools like Garrett Park, Harmony Hills, and Wheaton Woods Elementary, or hosting fundraisers for St. Raphael Catholic School and Tilden Middle School, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the educators and students who are shaping Rockville’s future. We’ve even had the chance to support initiatives like St. John the Evangelist School’s silent auction, where our donation will help them build a much-needed playground.

Local businesses are at the heart of Rockville, and we’ve been fortunate to connect with so many incredible neighbors – sharing free chips and queso as a small treat and a way to start meaningful partnerships. From MoCo Ink to 7 Locks Brewing to Dream Wizards, these relationships are a reminder of what it means to support each other and grow together.

We’ve also been inspired by the work of local nonprofits like Interfaith Works and The Upcounty Hub, and we’re proud to partner with them on initiatives that make it easy for our guests to give back. With every gift card purchased and donated, we’re able to make a difference alongside the people who are already doing so much good in this community.

Of course, being part of Rockville means celebrating together, and we’ve loved every opportunity to bring people together for unique events. Whether it’s introducing students at American University to our Damn Good tacos during “Vote with Your Mouth,” collaborating with Mimi’s Handmade Ice Cream for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience, or joining the Rockville Tree Lighting to spread queso joy during the holidays, we’ve seen firsthand the power of tacos to bring smiles to faces and people together. Events like these have led to even more community moments, like welcoming groups of families and friends into our store to share meals, laughter, and good times.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue building on these connections with even more events, like the MoCo Eats Food & Beverage Showcase next spring, where we’ll celebrate Montgomery County’s vibrant food scene alongside other local favorites. We’re also working on plans to host Yelp MD Burbs’ Yelp Elite Squad for a fun gathering that highlights what we do best – bringing people together over Damn Good tacos.

At Torchy’s Tacos Rockville, we’re not just here to serve food. We’re here to build relationships, give back, and be part of the moments that matter in this community. We’ve been overwhelmed by the warm welcome from Rockville, and we’re excited to continue being a Damn Good neighbor for years to come.

Stop by and see us – we can’t wait to share more memories with you, one taco at a time.
