Largest STEM Festival in Montgomery County Coming on April 27, 2025

The Rockville Science Center is hosting the largest STEM festival in Montgomery County on Sunday, April 27, 2025, noon - 5:00 pm, at Montgomery College (51 Mannakee St, Rockville, MD 20850). The 34th annual Rockville Science Day is a free, family-friendly event that rounds up over 100 exhibitors from around the region offering hands-on learning and lots of exciting STEM discoveries for all ages.

Rockville Science Day offers an annual opportunity to bring together the public and private sectors, along with local nonprofits and community groups for one exciting day of STEM learning and exploration. Visitors of all ages can enjoy a variety of exhibits, activities, games and demos including rocket-building (and launching), telescope viewing, all kinds of robots, an enigma machine, backyard wildlife, ship models, microscopes, snakes, Civil War medical practice, coding challenges, math puzzles, chemistry in action (flames, explosions & reactions), electric vehicle demos, quadcopters, archaeology mini-digs, 3D printing, brain games, and much more!

Exhibitors who will be in attendance include: NIH, NASA, NIST, NSA’s National Cryptologic Museum, National Capital Astronomers, US Pharmacopeia, Adventist HealthCare, National Museum of Civil War Medicine, Excelior Lab, Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington DC, Croyden Creek Nature Center, University of Maryland, The George Washington University, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin, Glen Echo Park Aquarium, numerous robotics teams, NARHAMS Model Rocket Club, Montgomery County Beekeepers Association, and many more.
